Autonomous
Job Hunt
Agent

A fully autonomous AI system that handled an entire job application workflow — researching job boards, identifying best-fit roles, filling out application forms, writing cover letters, and submitting — all without any manual intervention.

The Concept

This project is a live demonstration of what vibe coding can achieve. Instead of manually searching job boards, tailoring resumes, filling out repetitive application forms, and writing cover letters — I built an AI system that does all of it autonomously.

The application itself — researching jobs, writing my resume, filling the form, and writing a cover letter explaining the process — is a live demo of AI-guided development executing real-world workflows completely on its own.

"The application itself is a live demo of vibe coding. AI researched, AI wrote the resume, AI filled the form, AI wrote the cover letter explaining the process — end to end."

How It Works

1

Research

AI scans job boards (Vibehackers, RemoteVibeCodingJobs, etc.) for matching vibe coding and AI developer roles.

2

Identify

Filters roles by fit: entry-level acceptable, worldwide/remote, vibe-coding friendly, no 3+ year requirements.

3

Write

Generates a tailored resume in HTML and writes personalized cover letters for each application.

4

Fill

Uses browser automation (Kimi WebBridge) to navigate application forms, fill fields, and handle validation.

5

Submit

Uploads resume files, submits forms, and logs results — all without any human touching the keyboard.

Key Features

Autonomous Job Research

Scans multiple job boards simultaneously, identifies matching roles, and filters out positions that don't fit the criteria.

AI-Generated Resume

Creates a professional HTML resume tailored to each role, highlighting relevant skills and project experience.

Personalized Cover Letters

Writes unique cover letters for each company, referencing specific job requirements and explaining why the candidate is a fit.

Browser Automation

Uses Kimi WebBridge for real browser control — navigating forms, filling fields, handling dropdowns, and clicking submit.

Error Recovery

Built-in error recovery loops handle form validation failures, CAPTCHAs, and rate limits — retrying or gracefully skipping.

Execution Tracking

Logs every application attempt with status (submitted/skipped/failed), notes, and timestamps in a structured tracking file.

Why This Matters

This isn't just a tool — it's proof that AI-guided development can execute real-world workflows completely autonomously. The system researched jobs, wrote my resume, filled application forms, wrote cover letters, and submitted applications. All of it happened without me touching the keyboard.

The selling point: the application itself is the demo. When a company asks "what can you build with AI?" — this is the answer. A system that understands job requirements, writes persuasive cover letters, navigates complex application forms, and handles errors — all on its own.
